Who?  In the early 1950's, a small company named Ed Valmont & Associates began by selling various products to the automotive industry as a manufacturers representative.  In 1970, the name changed to Wolverine Auto Board Sales, Inc. to better reflect the company's focus on providing sub-foundation board to the automotive industry.

What?  Today, Wolverine has transformed into an engineered solutions company.  We look at the technical challenges for each customer application and quantify the appropriate materials and processes to supply that product.  In addition, through our dedicated customer service team, Wolverine will design, source, convert and manage the entire supply chain right up to the time it delivers.

Where?  In the beginning, Wolverine's customers were all within 200 miles of Detroit.  Now, we manage and ship product all over the world to just about every industry.

Why?  Our mission is to help our customers reduce their costs through engineered solutions. Our goal is the relentless pursuit of continuous improvement to guarantee our customers success, and thereby ours.

How?  We accomplish this by providing what the customer needs, in the form they need it. Wolverine continually invests in research and development through testing of new and different materials and processes to meet the changing demands of our customers.  Our team will study the materials and processes used to produce your products, determine the required attributes, and then provide a detailed report which includes information such as: test data on current products; quotations for additional equipment to improve the current process or reduce waste; suggestions for alternative materials or constructions that meet or exceed the criteria while reducing costs.
