When most people think of plastic wood, they picture decking planks.  However, in this process, post-consumer polypropylene waste is ground and combined with a highly engineered wood particle the consistency of flour to form sheets in different thicknesses. The extruded flat sheet material is used primarily for the sub-foundation boards under carpeted automotive parts. Many of the sheets are thermoformed for a variety of applications.
